Blastrite Platinum Grit is a specially selected and graded slag abrasive with sharp, angular particles. Generally referred to as a synthetic magnesium iron silicate, it is black in color and particularly resistant to impact fracturing. Blastrite Platinum Grit is used where expendable abrasives are needed for on-site abrasive blasting in shipyards, steel construction, oil refineries, power plants, offshore oil platforms, and any blasting yard designed for diverse and flexible applications. The product is specially graded to optimize production, meeting designated surface preparation standards according to industry norms.
